Fresh to the front lines in Battlefront 2 or a grizzled veteran looking for some new builds to shake up your battle readiness? We've put together a guide for you so you can wreak ultimate havoc on the battlefield.

Assault Class:

The assault class is known as the general all rounder and is reasonably good at everything, however being a jack of all trades usually means you don't really excel in any particular avenue of combat. We've put together a build for you to help narrow that gap and assist you in staying alive and racking up those kills.

Weapons:

  1. The A280 is a fantastic mid-long range engagement option, it comes with a built in 3 shot burst fire, we recommend using the improved cooling and improved range mods.

  2. The CR-2 is another great choice, excelling in close quarters combat due to it's high rate of fire, be sure to pop the reduced recoil and ion shot for wiping enemy vehicles.

Star Cards:

  1. Toughen Up massively improves survivability while it's active and keeps you in the fight longer

  2. Assault Training gives you some health restore per kill which synergises well with toughen up

  3. Improved Thermal Detonator with it's bigger blast radius and recharge time is fantastic for crowd control

Heavy Class:

The heavy class is characterised by it's heavy armor, higher health pool and potential to wreak utter havoc on the battlefield, they generally struggle at longer range engagements however and are better at controlling choke points.

Weapons:

  1. The TL-50 absolutely shreds enemies at close range, basically working like a space age minigun, be sure to pop on improved cooling and reduced spread to improve it's functionality.

  2. The T-21 in the right hands turns the heavy class into a long range powerhouse, no mods are required for this as it's accuracy and pure damage outshines all else, the only downside is a slow rate of fire so misses are costly!

Star Cards:

  1. Barrage is a solid choice for holding down tight corridors and objectives as it fires 3 grenades in a salvo

  2. Supercharged Sentry bumps up your health regeneration while causing a splash damage effect

  3. Survivalist reduces health regeneration delay and can keep you in the fight longer if you know when to hang back after taking a hit

Officer Class:

The class with the best point generation and assistance to your teammates would be the Officer, shining in the health regeneration, point farming and general control of the battlefield, a much smaller health pool is the downside though and two or more shots from a powerful weapon will spell your end.

Weapons:

  1. The SE-44C is a fully automatic and highly effective choice for the Officer, we recommend the improved cooling and rapid fire mods to really shine.

Star Cards:

  1. Improved Battle Command greatly improves the ability radius and buffs ally health/ability regeneration while providing you with a solid boost to your points

  2. Officer's Presence reduced the health regeneration delay for nearby teammates keeping them in the fight longer

  3. Resourceful provides a passive cooldown reduction for all your abilities keeping you on the front lines longer

Specialist Class:

The Specialist outshines all when it comes to long range engagements and stealth, they're equipped with sniper rifles, perfect for popping skulls on the other side of the map as well as an infiltration device that hides themselves from enemy radars for a short while, their diminished health pool makes them weak choices for up close and personal battle however.

Weapons:

  1. The NT-242 absolutely shreds enemies from long range, capable of one shotting many enemies with hits to the head. We recommend slapping on the dual zoom and improved cooling mods to make it even deadlier!

  2. The A280-CFE is another solid option for more aggressive, mid range battles. Slap the burst mode and optionally dual zoom to improve it

Star Cards:

  1. Improved Thermal Binoculars will give you an extended duration to view and track enemies even through walls

  2. Personal Shield can be used to quickly escape or survive hairy situations

  3. Stealth let's you stay off enemy radars to get into a favourable position or assassinate key targets

And there you have it, a full list of the best weapons and star cards you can use per class, if you've already got a solid build that's fantastic news but if you've been struggling a bit or want a solid starting point we're happy to have helped you out, go well and may the Force be with you!
