All Master Override Lock Locations In Dead Space Remastered

Trudging up and down the dark, cramped halls of the Ishimura searching for the master override lock locations once you've crafted the master access can be a harrowing experience, especially when the constant threat of death by horrifying Necromorphs lurks around every dank corner. We've chosen to create this guide for you so that you no longer have to worry about searching! Just follow along and we'll show you the way.

Aegis VII: Transfer Junction

In order to access this location you need to progress to Chapter 12 of the game, in the transfer junction area you'll find a chest tucked away in the bottom right corner, you'll be rewarded with three power nodes which can be used to pump up your armor or weapons to deal with these late game enemies.

Hanger Cargo Tram Control: Floor One

This is another location in the game which will require you to be quite far along in the story, Chapter 11 will see you exploring this location, the master override chest can be found alongside the Western wall of the Cargo Bay room, it contains the Suspension Module, an upgrade for your Force Gun.

Crew Quarters: Deluxe Shift Bunks

In order to access this location you're going to need to bung around in the dark for a bit, you're required to reroute power from the lights to the doors inside the Deluxe Quarters of the Crew Quarters deck. Once you've done this head into the Deluxe Shift Bunks room and claim the High Pressure Nozzle, an upgrade for your Flamethrower.

Crew Quarters: First Officer D. White's Room

This room is located quite close to the Deluxe Shift Bunks, on the opposite side of the central nexus. In order to access this room you're gonna need the keycard located in the Executive Quarters bathroom, once you've aquired the key you'll be able to gain access to the room and the chest within. Quick tip so you don't brown your breeches like we did, but there is a Necromorph in this room, go in guns blazing. The loot in here is a Gold Semiconductor.

Hydroponics: Central Hub Hallway

In order to access this chest you're going to have to head to the location where you synthesised the enzyme to stop the big flesh blob from wreaking havoc on the Ishimura oxygen and life support. Once you're there go through the door marked "To mining tram station" you should see the chest in the hallway leading to the elevator. Inside you'll find the Precision Lasers item, an upgrade for your Line Gun.

Engineering: Machine Shop

Take the tram system straight down to the engineering deck, as you leave the relative safety of your tram start making your way to the Engineering Control Room, from that location head through the door marked Preperation Room and keep moving until you reach the machine shop. The chest can be found at the top left of the shop, right next to the RIG room. Inside this chest you'll find Carbon Fibre Blades, an upgrade for your Ripper.

Mining Deck: Tool Storage

Grab a tram towards the Mining Deck, once you've arrived head directly into mining operations and look to your right there will be boxes that you can move with kinesis, past these you'll find a locked door to the Tool Storage, inside here you'll gain access to the Diffraction Module, an upgrade to your Contact Beam.

Bridge: Water Purification Storage

Head to the main atrium of the bridge, once there take the main elevator (the one in the center of the room) to level 5, Water Purification. Once you've walked out of the elevator the master override door should be on your immediate right, inside here you'll find High-Yield Grenades, an upgrade for your Pulse Rifle.
